Hi everyone,

Have a 1965 D1100 w a 266. Did a compression test on it. Half the cylinders tested 125psi, one @ 128psi, one @ 134psi, 135psi and one @ 145psi. Simple inexpensive ways to increase the compression in the engine?
Thanks

Deck the block, deck the heads.

You can't increase compression without machine work.

And the compression in yours is on par for being good.

A valve job may bring up the low cylinders. Put a squirt of oil in the low cylinders and see if they improve. If not a valve job is in order. Still machine work though.
