McGrew Trail Cluster Run

It makes me sad to miss this run. I have been looking forward to it since last year. It just falls on a weekend when I have to much going on........well that and uber Scout has had his wings clipped. :icon_rolleyes: I'm in on the next one for sure.

Sorry my fwb friends, there is only a few things us yamhill county folk look forward to every year, and mud drag season is one of them. Never in your life will you see more rednecks at one place and at one time. You sure have purty mouths, but I can't miss an oppurtunity to see so many of my relatives at one function.:cornut:

besides, orange is still under construction and won't be ready for a few more moons. Be safe and have a great trip. I'll see you at the bee.

I understand cap'n and numba one. It's been a challenge to bring this one to fruition for several years now. I think we'll be looking hard at June again next year. It just makes sense, but we'll be sure to put all our purdy brains together early on and see if we can't settle on a weekend with fewer conflicts. I feel extra bad now because one of the main impetuses behind this chosen date decided to back out. By that time, the date had already become pretty much set in stone. I felt it was too late in the process to start playing the flippy-floppy bs game.

Hey guys. I have to pass on this one. I really wish I could be there but I have to replace my tires before I take on a trip that far from home. I have been on the same BFG's for longer then a decade. Its actually true. They are really cut up and cracked and dry. I just cant afford to drop a grand on then this soon. I will get there next time. Thats a promise. Have a great time. See you next year or sooner!

I hear a cluster-storee comin' up from the south kuntry...mabee jerry dun broke hiz majik twanger for tha last time????

Jerry came along but didn't get shore leave. Big girl tore the drivers front spring mount off the frame on a sidetrip and limped into camp banging and grinding the front wheel. Thanks to ken p and his incredibly prepared Scout II he was able to weld big girl back together in camp and then a second time when she broke again on the trail out. A learning experience for the fwb's but overall a great trip. Beautiful country, saw a bear, met some great guys and tdog wuz well behaved, except for the lettuce cups.
Thanks again to ken, dan and keith
