Max tire size

If I put on the Rough Country 2.5" lift and the reverse shackle conversion on my bone stock setup, what is the max tire size I can safely go to?

Depends on what you mean by safely. I'm running 32x11.5x15 hankook dynapro mts on my 75 with a 2 1/2 lift, and the rears definitely hit in the back of the fender wells. The hankooks in that size are also bigger than all terraine tas of the same size. That said, I have also seen plenty of 31 x 10.5 tas hit in the same location. Usually occurs when you are going up a real tight uphill switch back. Kind of bends a little 3/4 inch by about 6 inch flap of sheetmetal up. About the 4th time you hammer it back down it tends to break off. The 32 x11 1/2s also rarely tag the bottom front fender lips

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on a street ride and possibly a plow down the road, so no rock crawling. Are you happy with your lift? Anything I need to know about installing it or any other issues? Did you change your front driveshaft?

Hi-
I have the rc 2.5 and a 1 inch body lift with 33x10.50 BFG at's. I have pretty bad rub off road. I am currently trying to get fenders cut and bumpers in better placement to protect the body. I also have a reverse shackle system in front. I do have a lot of body roll and need to figure out some type of system to attach the two sides of the frame and body to my frame so I dont roll so bad going around turns on the road.

Best of luck with your rig!
