LS Swap into Scout II

I have a '77 IH Scout II with a 345 and tf tranny, 44's f&r....... I am going to start a restoration on this in the next few months. I have priced out having my 345 rebuilt and adding a fuel injection system to it, but for less money I can get a ls motor with computer. But the deciding factor is adapters.......does anyone make them? I see engine mounts for sbc but are there any for the ls motors? Also adapter for the 727 tranny? I'm sure that someone can make them, but I also wanted to ask here because I'm sure somebody has already done this. Thanks!

Your swap isn't uncharted territory. I don't know about adapting the 727 to your ls motor. They're good transmissions, but I think most folks in your situation would be going with a 700r4 to get the overdrive gear. Engine and trans would mate up without an adapter.
