take I-5 to exit 256

if coming from the north: turn right at the end of the exit, then left (at first light) on hawthorne ne – pietros is on your right

if coming from the south: turn left at the end of the exit, then left (at first light) on hawthorne ne – pietros is on your right

We had a nice turnout last night. Along with the new location we had some new faces and we got to see some new to the club IH junk iron.

Mike and kathy did a nice powerpoint presentation on last year's Binder Bee and Mike roth presented us with a cool best of 2009 photo slide show.

Thanks to all that made it. :thumbsup:
 
A big thank you to Mike, kathy and michael for a great meeting last night. I thought the turn out was very good and there was a lot to the meeting. I really enjoyed myself and thanks to all.

Ps - drew tells me at the next meeting there will be a drawing for a new corvette. Am not sure of the color but this should help drive attendance.

Umm. I think you heard me wrong. It was a drawing for a quartet. Mayben, the roths, and monte all singing in 4 parts harmony while you dine on road kill down in maybenville at a special table for just you and your loved one.
 
Drawing for a corvette...that's enuff to make me stay away from the next hookup!!!

Majorbig turnout for the meeting! January and February are normally very low attendance! Even lonnie, john watson, phil, colin, and Mike fiock showed up...all at the same time!!!

Kathy put a lotta effort in that bee deal (not me), that's justa preview of what we hope to produce in the future bee-wise so we can have the bee going on year 'round. Watch for it to be available for viewing on the club website anytime, by anyone. And now we know we need to really upgrade our documentation of actual bee happenings so we make certain that names/faces/rides/activities are always correctly id'd.

I know Mike and the rest of the board have set a goal of having a major reason to bee at every meeting, there will bee "content" to appeal to all interests presented throughout the year.

And we had a big influx of new folks last nite, just what we need to keep our krew fresh and moving forward! Great start for the new year!!

Woohoo! Fwb suthern' kuntingint will shorly crash that shindig. We'll furnish the blowin' jugs (and the drinkin' kind), clackin' spoons, washboards, gitt-fiduls, banjos, and steel-slide. Add all that to them dulsett kortet vokulz an you gotchyorsef a pyur d treat fer the eeyers without a doubt!
 
By my count we had 5 IH owners that had never been to a meeting before. A travelette, a traveler, a Scout 800 and 2 Scout iis.. :thumbsup:thats a pretty good influx of new people. I just hope we didn't scare them away. Of course by "we". I really mean "mayben"...:dita:

Naw man...I wuz real nice to tha noobs!

And, that would be only 4.5 new owners, the dude with the t'ette bought that Ford-powered rig that's been kickin' on Craig'sl for the last three years!

But then I think a 460-powered t'ette is an ideal tow rig! I bet half the folks in that room last nite have thought about that ride over the years (pro or con)!

The proof will come if they show up again in February! And one guy said he was turned on to IHSTO by a studebaker group he plays with also. He kept trying to git kathy to allow him to pay dues...he still don't believe we don't take money for havin' so much fun! If he'd asked lyle, he would have taken his dinero though!!!

Yep, I'll take all I can get.

It was a great turnout for the January meeting! Having the video presentations might just entice everyone to come back again next month. This gives us all a reason to document whatever we do, be it trail ride, 3rd Saturday cruise, tech sessions or garage project.
