Not sure what my engine size is 304 or 345? Any help out there. 1970 straight side, bought some time ago, I’m not an engine expert

The engine size is stamped into a boss near the fuel pump. It will be difficult to see and covered in grime. You can take a tape measure and measure the width of the push rod cover and post it up here. A 304 will be narrower than a 345 or 392. If the engine has a 4bbl carb, then that rules it out being a 304 as they were 2bbl only. The data plate on the door will list the engine horsepower of what was original to the truck. Might still be what's in it or might not. You can also try to find your line setting ticket aka factory build sheet. It may be taped to the backside of the glove box liner or it might be taped to the passenger door A-pillar.
