Hollister March 25-27

This will be my first time with you guys. Look for the sr2. Also I am a retired deputy from san benito county:thumbsup:

I'm going to try to make it. Gotta get the Scout road ready. It'll be the first time taking it out of town. Is this thing family friendly or should I leave the wife and kid at home. They're both pretty handy with a wrench.

it's my first time to hollister. Do I need to register for camping or anything?

Assuming you’ve gone through town, first stop is the entrance to the lower ranch where bikes and quads play. That’s where you pay. Tell them it's your first time. They will give you a receipt, map, the lock combination number for the gate at stop #2 and a good luck. But for now, go back to the main road and turn right. You’ll go a mile or 2, past the houses the rangers live in. There will be a turnout on your right; at the old vineyard schoolhouse. Open the gate and let yourself in. Follow the road to the sycamore campground.

I should have my new tranny in ready to go by then. I just need a rear drive shaft for a manule tranny. Does any one have a spare other wise I will have to have one made

I'm planning on being there. I'm going to camp at area 5 with the tdo guys but I know where you camp is. I'll try to swing by nico's house in oakley and remind him of the date.

I too am planing on going again this year. Not sure if I will have any passengers. The wife and girls opt out last year so expect the same this year. But won't know until I ask.

It's a bit of drive from sac. But hope to get there early on Friday maybe around noon or so.

It's been like 3 years running with perfect weather, and perfact dirt.

I hit the car wash in town and spend like $8 as my rims fill with mud and are out of balance. I just spray it on wash so it helps remove the posion oak I end up driving through:sosp: when running places like the jungle. Maybe this year I will stay out of the mud pit
