There is water, but the mud is a bit too tacky to come off that easy, even with a spray nozzle. You really need a power washer to get the mud loose. It gets stuck on the inside of the rims and makes top speed like 30
 
That would be cool if someone had a powerwasher they could bring. I think there is 110 power in the bathrooms and hose hookups.
 
I'll bring mine. It's gas powered. It would be a good idea to have several hose's so we don't create a mud puddle near the water source.
 
I plan on coming down Saturday. I won't be able to stay overnite but I can hang out for a few hours.
Does anybody want to caravan?
 
The local randy has said he would like to go. Now that I know the date,I will let him know. I have never been there and don't know if will have the money to go,but it could happen.
 
I heard spraying cooking oil on your undercarriage/wheels thwarts the tactics of sticky mud... Maybe I'll try it when the Scout decides it's ready to leave the driveway...
 
I'll be coming down some dime midday Saturday. I want to try out the 74 200 4x4..

The 'spray cooking oil' that works best is the original pam. The lecithin in it does the best job.

I've gone like the last 5 years too. I just noticed that the hollister weekend is the same weekend for the ham radio testing.
Matt want your license? 15 bucks and a couple nights of study is all it takes.
 
Stacy's Dad here I am working 6 days a week through April. So I am gonna try to get down sat. Night or sun morning & hang out till afternoon. Will anyone still be there. Joe
 
Looks like I won't be making it this weekend. :( I'll be moving. Only a couple of miles, but my weekend is shot.
 
Headed down Friday am staying until sat pm or possibly sun mid day depending upon weather and fun factor.
 
This is stacy I dont think im going eather my altinator is going out. I put a holey 600 carb on my truck the other day an it was the best thing thats ever ran on my truck but iots my cuzins so I had to pull it back ofi can buy it off him but are they good for off road. . also my trany I put in is worn out in 3rd an 4th . so im eather putting my money into buying another parts Scout or getting a little beater truck for putting around town . gas up here is 3.93 an im selling everything I got just to be able to drive into to town
