Well,
michael sent me the two 1904 bowls to retro-fit with sight glasses.
I was ready for them when the arrived via snail mail so I only had to drill the hole and assemble. The attach bolt in a stainless steel 5/16-18(nc) button head machine screw that I put in the lathe and bored a 1/8 hole through for a fuel passage. It is located so it won't interfere with the float operation.
The adapter is custom and incorperated a c'bore for a 1/16 x 5/16 id oring to seal against the body. Iirc is a as3578 -011 oring. I can supply cad drawings of the adapter if needed.
I have included some pictures for referance.
I am sure michael will add great info to this thread after he gets his.
