Hi guys. This May not be the most popular thing to do to a Travelall as it seems most lift them but I want to lower mine. My question is on this year in 2 wd (it is the smaller 5x4.5" wheel bolt pattern if that helps) I guess it has the independent front end right? Not a straight axle like the older ones? The truck is not here for me to look at so I can't tell if it has traditional front coil springs and shocks or what. The rears are leafs so I imagine I can have them de arched or just do lowering blocks pretty easily back there. I also remember reading the front has a torsion bar set up. The only experience I have with one of those is in an old 61 dodge, which I was just able to crank on a large center bolt to lower the front end. Any info would be great as I'm completely ignorant on IH's! Thank you!!

Some were torsion bar and some were coil spring. The 2wd one I parted was torsion bar with small bolt pattern. Still have the suspension and brake parts but not much longer.
