Every year that Scout becomes more cyborg like. In another 8 years there will be nothing left of girl Scout other than a green wire or two and whatever rust got trapped in the weld pool. Creepy like darth vader.

You will need something to keep the rocks/mud/dirt/snow off the driver/passenger....

Well, the basic plan is:
no more sheet metal except for some kind rear fenders (mud guards) and maybe a bulkhead behind the seats.
We've built a mockup with pvc pipe and cardboard.
That might be the version that flies. Stay tuned...

Maybe add some more skin on the sides to give it a more full body look, vs just the front fenders. Plus it will help keep stuff in the back and you can put the logo back on

to keep the mud/water off you might require a bit more work. Maybe a removable fender cover for those wet runs.

Actually we are considering exactly that. We have plans to have "fenders" over the tires. You can see the cardboard mockup in one of the pics...

Also for some bling fluid storage artec makes a sweet quart crate.

racing quart crate - 6 qts, brake, p/s, 2 gallons

Both of which could be made up in a press brake, if one had the time.
