Fuel Tank sending unit & fuel gauge

68 1200C
I believe I've got a 19 gallon tank that is going back under the curbside floor / bed. The tank has been reconditioned but I'm going to need a sending unit, seal, and locking ring before I tie it up there. I've got 3 questions please:
Where could I find another sending unit, seal, and locking ring?
What ohm rating should I pair a gauge with this sending unit (full & empty)?
Are the gauges on the dash "stepped-down" to 6-volt or will they operate okay with the truck's 12-volt system? Thank you

For the tank hardware, I suggest contacting IH Parts by phone during business hours, as a quick search of the web store for those items pertitnent to your truck didn't appear, but that in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have them or can't get them.
Your factory OIL, TEMP and FUEL gauges use a CVR that does step down the voltage in a pulsating manner. Circuit 27 is a 12 volt switched feed from the ignition that terminates at the positive post of the CVR which is fastened to the back of the TEMP gauge. Reduced output from the CVR is then transferred to the O, T, & F gauges via circuit 27A. I believe the gauge/sender relationship is 10-73 ohms, but that is something you can also confirm with IHPA during your phone call.

This is all good information - thank you. I did call and after weighing all the options decided to purchase all new SW gauges. To begin, I looked into refurbishing my originals and after talking with this shop (with 50+yrs experience), their pricing started at $1grand. New replacements came to $500 - are all 12 volt, and fuel level gauge will match my sending unit (70 empty - 10 full). I'll also be installing a new wiring harness / fuse panel. I appreciate your input Sir. I always get a helleva education with these responses!
