Fuel Injection break in on the Rubicon

Picked up my Scout at Jeff's on thurs evening and trailered to loon lake. Started on the trail at about 10:30 am and got to rubicon springs at about 5:30 pm. That's a pretty good run.

The fuel injection worked almost flawlessly. A couple of times, when I gave it some throttle, it would pause, then surge which in both of these cases wasn't a big deal but in other situations May not be so forgiving. Going down some of the trail was really awesome though. Where it wasn't too tough it was like riding a mule. All I had to do was a little steeing and didn't have to touch the throttle. It was a lot of fun.

Ran most of the trail in 2nd gear, low range. Only had to crawl in a few spots. Thanks very, very, very much to Jeff and bill for the effort required to dial this engine in to run so well.

Most definitely ran cooler, or it could have been the time of year, but it was definitely ran cooler.

From loon lake to the hwy 50 ag station was 12 gals of gas. So I think the fuel economy was also way up.

Good to hear randy.

We were starting to wonder about you.

Not sure on the hesitation tho if it wasn't consistent.
