I love my Scout for all its positives and negatives. However there is one thing I truly dislike. Fillin her up with gas. Not because gas prices are outrageous, but because the filler hole is a pain the ass to work with. Big hole - little nozzle. Vapors shutting down the nozzle, dribbling down the side of the car, light spray coming back, and having to hold the nozzle in there the entire time with a lot of pressure since it doesn't quite fit.
I have read a few past discussions that touched on this issue but never saw a solution I was looking/hoping for. Is there an aftermarket part or good donor part that allows you to update the female receptacle of the gas filler to a new "more standard version"? One that would allow me to place in the nozzle, leave it as it fills up, and drink my coffee or wash a window at the same time.
