Guys I need some help I have a 72 scoutll and im jus building a project to drive around from time to time. I have ordered a 2in body and 4in Rough Country lift I have 15x8 procomp wheels and going to run 36in13.50 iroks. I was wondering what all I would have to change if I did a springover on top of the 4in lift. If yall could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks

First, we would encourage the forum members to help folks like this with their knowledge and experience. Quite honestly we just can't field every phone call about potential builds.

Also, Jeff is the owner but 1 or 4 people here, all that should be able to help. No need to ask for him directly as he gets way too many calls during the day as it is.

Thanks so much for your support.

I would encourage you to search around the forum as well as some of the other forums out there and get ideas. The lift you are looking at has been done many times.

Sorry to misguide you dude. He's always had time for me. Guess things have changed.
There is a lot of info here. The "search" function wants exact words and spelling. It May take you a few tries to get past the "no reults-try again" page. Pour over the suspension threads and axle threads. You'll want to know all about the cut and turn, caster angles, and spring over mods.
For what its worth, the body lift is not the way to go. Toyota mini trucks do body lifts for a quick and dirty bump in height. Same with axle blocks (but scouts don't use them). You'll have to mod your clutch linkage, move your radiator shroud, steering, etc.
Better move is the spring lift and new stock height body bushings with 5" shackles. That and some 4 deg caster shims, and extended brake lines should fit 33s fine. Anything bigger and you'll have to rethink the plan.
Hope that helps.
