Hi all. I bought a 2nd truck it is a 66 IH pickup. It has all the glass I need. It is 4x4 and if anyone wants anything off of it, let me know. It is in houston. As for my current issue. I have two pending issues that is holding up the project. First, I am trying to remove the driver's side window from the donor truck, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove it. I took handle and door panel off and can see the track, but removing the glass from the track is causing me stress. Any suggestions?

2nd issue...the seat mounts... My current truck didnt have any seat or mounts. The donor does.. My plan is to remova the metal brackets that the seat mounts to and after the seat gets back form getting recovered, to install into my 67 IH. It looks to be welded in place? Obviously I need help.

Looks like on the bottom of the door is two screws that hold the track aligned but mine were too far rusted away. So when I drilled them out, the window came off the track and made for easier removal....now the seat..... Any advice?

Maybe take reference measurements of the ones in place, make corresponding locating marks in the floor of the one without, then cut the mounts and weld them in place where your locating marks are? I don't know. That's the only idea that pops into mind without seeing what you're dealing with.

The seat from your donor should have a removeable frame ??
On my 67 t-all I had to weld the front seat bases in also ,
after acquiring a set and separating them from the floorboards (drilled spotwelds)
I used the seat frame to help locate them in the proper place ,
one advantage I had was whoever removed them left remnants of the spotwelds , then just mig welded the bases in with multiple
plug and edge welds

(careful your fuel tank is under there) when the po installed
"newer" seats in my t-all he drove 5-6 big sheet metal screws
into the tank without ever knowing ( or caring)

Just take careful measurements from the donor cab before removing the brackets and just drill the spot welds. What shape is the tailgate in if you're willing to ship it

Tail gate is not the best but fixable. When I return form my work trip I will take a photo. Where will it be shipped to?
