Disk brake help

Did a 4 wheel Chevy based disk brake set up. Over time the brake will build pressure and apply the brake both front and back. Any ideas? Thanks

First thing to do is adjust the internal pushrod between the booster and the master cylinder. Shorten the rod by only one turn and try it. It is a very fine thread and one turn makes much difference in the engagement distance.

If one turn is not enough, then do it again with one more turn.

Once the brake components under the hood cool down, the problem goes away for a while, then as they heat during driving, the problem comes back...right?

When you say "valve inline", do you mean the actual proportioning valve?

The valve you should have used would be the one made for the actual brake system you installed, not the valve that was oem on the sii. If the original system was drum/drum, it never had a proportioning valve, the valve was a combination valve that supplied only the function of the warning system illumination.

Ok well I think that could be the issue. Not sure what I have going on will try that thanks for the help
