Difference in Tops, Half Cab & Full Top Early & Later models

Will an early half cab top fit a later model 69 800a?

The early model has the sliding door windows and my later model has roll up windows, would like to know if this early style half cab top will fit mine in replacement of my full top, and then my next question is would my later full top fit this earlier model? I know the early models had 5 bolts along windshield top and the later had 7, so I'd need to drill a few more holes, but is there any difference besides that? The earlier style also has the drop down front windshield and the later is fixed.

I guess my real question is are the dimensions of the half cab tops early & late the same, as in side window openings and shape, etc..??? The top can easily be modified for mounting purposes if dimensions and shape are all the same.

I think you've noted the major differences between the 80 and 800 tops. I believe they are otherwise identical in shape and dimension. But, I've never owned an 80 or 800, to know for sure. Where ya at in so ore? I just left there...douglas & jackson counties.

Yep. I lived in cp/meddy from about '96 thru 2012. That's the fat white boy headquarters. Got a few binder buds in meddy.
