Okay guys, I screwed up. I was messing with the carb at work when one of the guys came over, looked at my engine, and told me I should use our engine degreaser to clean it up. I drove the Scout into the wash bay and sprayed some degreaser on the dirtier parts of the engine. Waited a few minutes, then hosed it off. Engine is much cleaner now. But now I can't get it to start. The engine will crank when I turn the key but makes no attempt to fire. I will pull a plug and check tomorrow but I don't believe I am getting spark anymore. What are the common things I could have fried that I should be looking at? I did pull the distributor cap to make sure I didn't get water in there and it was dry inside. Could I have fried the gold box, coil, condenser, etc?
