conberting too 1 wire charging system

I am putting a 67 scout 800 with original wiring on a 77 scout II chassis and want to use a 1 wire charging system the distributer is a prestolite with regular coil. Is ther anything I should be concerned with with the older wiring?
 
Only concern would be the addition of a higher than stock output alternator. The factory wiring can't handle full load from a high output alternator. If you stay well under a 100 amps max, you should be alright.
