brake problems

I have a 72 Scout d44 in the rear drum brakes and a d30 in the front with disk brakes I am trying to find out what kinda brake pressure I should have at the m\c and at the rear brakes and the front calipers any help would be appreciated thank you

Your Scout would have originally had drums all the way around. Now that you have discs up front, do you also have a disc/drum proportioning valve and a disc/drum master cylinder?

Yes I do its a new m\c and portioning valve is off the same vehicle the disc brakes are off of

Was the m/c bench bled before installation?

No I didn't

It isn't absolutely mandatory, but it is a good way to quickly purge some air before introducing it through the lines. I'm thinking you just have a quantity of air built up in one or more of the lines and you have more bleeding to do at every corner until you fail to see air bubbles escaping.

I think I am just going to start from scratch and bench bleed the m\c and make sure all the lines a clear

If the back part of the mc isn't holding pressure that mean the the mc is bad
