Basic question but this just does not lok right.

What do you guys think? I installed my new u-bolts and spring plates last night and they seem to have some leaning issues like the u-bolt plates are not wide enough:

The hardware all came from RuffStuff specialties. The quality appeared to be there but when installed it just doesnt look right. Plus the u-bolts were such a fight to get lined up with the bolt holes that by the time I was able to I had to run a die down the threads to straighten them up...... Input guys?

Are you sure the plates arent 90* out? If not it looks like the plates are the wrong ones for your application. Either way, its not correct.

Agreed. Not right. Looks like those plates are for different aplication. You might wann call up where ever you got that kit and tell them the plates are wrong. scouts through out the years have used different widths in the leaf springs. Most common are 2" and 2-1/2" wide. Measure your current springs and then measure those plates where the u-bolts go through and ya will see that it might be about a 1/4" to 1/2" difference

And after you do all that, maybe think about supporting the vendor who supports all of us by providing this forum. Better chance of getting the right parts that way. Just sayin'...:yesnod:

Hard to tell from the picture but it looks like the Ubolt plates are correct but the perchs are too wide.
