Average Voltage for Scout II

What is the average voltage on a Scout II when at idle? at 1500 RPM, at 2000 RPM?

My alternator is showing 14/14.5 volts at idle and at 2000 RPM. I would think that at idle it would have dropped down to 13+ volts.

Any thoughts?

i think your doing good

with no accessories on, and i have a 10si alternator, my voltage is about 14-14.7 at idle

wth A/C on and head lights on voltage will be 11-12 at idle.

Well, at idle with nothing running a drain, no a/c, no turn signals, no brake lights, no heater fan - it is still pegged at 14.5 volts. I just installed a new Duralast battery that I got to replace my battery purchased in 2018. Battery is fully charged. I would have thought that at idle (650-750 rpm) the voltage read would drop to around 13 - 13.5. am I reading too much into this? I didn't want the 14.5 volts to burn out my new battery.

14.5 won't burn out a new battery. Every modern car out there maintains 14.5 at idle.

My LS swapped scout charges my Agm grp 31 battery at 14.7 at idle.
