With a fresh start, I'm back in business as riley-cary collectibles.
My product line:
trophies and awards. Even though I was really tired of dealing with trophies, sometimes ya gotta go with what you know.

It first began at bill’s house and later dave's house in August, then to new shop at carl's ...yea...

Adjusting well to the "love shack". Smaller quarters, 10'x11'. One day I'll have the space back again. But in the meantime, this is perfect, all things considered.

Re: the love shack

Went to my first vendor show in November. Little league, dist 12. Had fun. Saw some old friends. Many people remembered the now defunct rustic. I am on the right track.

That's good ol rex from branham hills. We' ve known each other for probably 20 years. My favorite liberal.

Re: the love shack

I set my drums up in the lower room.

I cleaned off the caked on dust from the old shop, they still look good, but need more tlc.

The snare, bass, 2 middle Tom-toms, and the 2 lower toms are all dated 1965. Aged maple shells.

My old trumpet that I played in jr and high school.

I have this thing for wanting to link stuff up.

Re: A new start / Movin' on and up

I will be down this weekend to pick up more of my stuff.

Anyone available for a few hours, noonish, this sat jan 19 to help me empty out the container.
Heavy tools like my table / radial arm saw, edge sander & dust collectors will go in the back of the dodge. The rest can go into the horse trailer. Most of it is on wheels.

If this is a possibility, please pm me.
Cary

Re: A new start / Movin' on and up

Back home now. I left sj at 8am this morning and got home at 4:30. Pleasant journey. Even got flashed by some chick as her father/sugardaddy pumped gas into some big motor home. I was sitting in the dodge next to them eating part of Friday’s nights subway.

A big thanks to dave carl and dan. There was none, zero, nada room to spare. Like my arrival photo, the dodge and horse trailer were maxed out. I had everything pretty organized for them. Dave and carl had it wired putting it together. Dave is a senior driver with conway freight; he knows wtf to do.

When the time comes for me to bring the 1300 home, dave and keith will load up the tables and carts. Dave is doing some repair work on the left gas tank. Anthony’s step Dad commutes to san jose on a regular basis and I’ll hitch a ride with him soon.

I got to hangout with cheese. He stopped by dave's later in the day.

Re: A new start / Movin' on and up

I am really thankful to the guys who packed my stuff and made sure anything burl related was there: raw burl, tools, resin....

Received my first burl order the other day under the new system. The silicon valley engineering hall of fame. 4 plaques. Been doing these people for 15 years.

I wasn’t setup yet for any production, so I made do with what was within reach.
The hay bale made a good table top, which sat on 4 tires

ready to pour the seal coat. I’ll clean out this room next week and set it up for finish work.

I did the original art and stationery for a new little fish market in bandon.
Even had a few collectibles thrown in. Flat and jersey koozies for suppliers / window flags for the truck and car / tote bags and wine tote bags / personalized counter aprons / clipboards / giveaway mugs

back in the mid 90’s I laid out websites by code. Nothing serious, just a hobby to learn photoshop. I know it’s living in the past, but in those times I was dealing about 10,000 trophies and plaques a year.

Gracias senior.

Here’s another one. It’s bitchin' to walk into a store where everyone speaks english. No wonder customer service lines move quicker.
Uhhhh, like the dmv in cave junction. And no appointment needed.
