This is my first post on the forum. I have a '79 Scout II 345/727 I am trying to bring back to life. I have been reading this forum for some time, and it has been most helpful so far. I had the thing starting and running (not driving) and then one day, no start.
with the help of this forum I figured it was the neutral safety switch. All the other parts related to starting (batt., coil, plugs, wires, etc.) are all new. I purchased a new switch and while reading mr. Maybens post in the transmission tech section, I decided to perform the maintenance he suggested. New filter, fluid drain, and band adjustments are on the agenda. My question is, when the word "turn" is used in relation to the adjusments does this mean a complete 360 degree turn of the adjustment bolt/screw? I know this question May seem silly, but I believe in having as much information as I can. Thanks in advance, for any replies.
