67 1100b headlight switch

you arent gonna believe this but I found that same thing under the seat. However the pull is missing.... Anything to do about that?

Good I hope yours is in better condition than the one I have is. The pull for any vehicle in that vintage is about the same. Go to the junk yard and find one or perhaps someone has the right one here. What knobs does your truck have?

Are you aware that the spring loaded button is pushed to remove the pull?

Sorry this is what I have

I think if you clean it up and put it back together it will work. Looks like it's all there. When reassembling, bend the tabs close first then lift them over the blocks. Of course you took notes and pictures on how it came apart right?

If the switch contacts are not badly corroded, if there's still meat on them; you might be able to clean & reassemble to make it work. I did that on an old Ford and it worked for years. Be patient, it's a puzzle if you did not keep track, but it can go together right. The pull is fairly "common", Ford used the triangle shaft also on a lot of their switches.

Unfortunately it kind of just came apart in my hand and I don't know how to really put it together but I'm also still missing the shaft in the knob to make it work I love anyone to help me out

Ok, so much for that idea. I think you can get a headlight switch knob/pull from any similar vintage vehicle.

I think I might have an original switch , I will look in the am , I goofed up and posted a picture of ignition switch connector z( reason for edit )

Hey guys. Thanks for all your help. I was able to rebuild my old switch. I didn't know I had it but it was under the bench seat and I am so happy. Only a few more weeks to go and this restoration will be complete.!!!
