show-n-shine is on the beach at lake francis
• The Saturday show n shine will move from the upper field area to the resort’s beach front
• The registration tent, vendor area and chili-dog lunch will be at the beach Friday and Saturday
• We’ll still gather for Saturday’s bbq dinner and Sunday’s burrito breakfast at the gazebo
• The beach is walking distance to the campgrounds

• We’ve had many requests to run the henness pass again, so that's what we’re going to do
• This time we’ll start in downieville and go up
• This is a mild offroad tour with a couple of steep inclines leaving downieville
• Leave lfr at 8:30 and meet at the ranger station for staging at 49 & marysville rd at 9:00
• Lunch at forest city in the park
• Back to lake francis by 3-4

• What started out as a few people unwinding in Loomis,
has grown into quite a large caravan of IH vehicles leading back to Grass Valley
• Some stay for the day, and others bring their rv’s and hangout a day or two before the drive home

• Where is dobbins? -about 45 minutes northeast of marysville into the foothills.
Sacramento CA – 1½ hours / 70 miles
medford or – 5 hours / 270 miles
reno nv – 2¼ hours / 115 miles

• If I register one truck, do I need to register my other trucks? - No. One paid registration covers all your personal Trucks.

• How do I make camping reservations? - Via lake francis resort's website Lake francis resort or calling 1-888-993-7344. Tent to full hook-up available.

•I arrive at lake francis after dark and the office is closed. How do I find my campsite? There is a “late arrival list” posted on the office door and the bulletin board as you enter the campgrounds. A map of the campground is posted.

• Will I be able to get a dinner ticket after the closing date? - Contact Mike to be put on a waiting list.

• I have a lot of old IH parts laying around. How and where can I sell them? - At the online rallye swap meet. Strike a deal online – make the exchange at the show. You can always bring parts with you Rallye swap meet thread

• I have an item I would like to donate to the raffle. Where do I send it? - Mike hill 786 fisher dr. Auburn, CA 95603. You are now a stagecoach sponsor

• I have an International Harvester refrigerator. Should I bring it? - yes, and it would even have its own show class – “other IH”. All IH manufactured items are welcomed and are encouraged to be displayed.

• Do I need to sign up for Friday’s street, trail or fordyce runs - not really…just show up before departure times. If you would make a note on the registration sheet, that would be helpful. The fordyce group will probably have their own info thread.

• Where will the fordyce base camp be? - The cisco grove campsite. The group leaves early Friday morning and returns to lake francis Friday evening.

• I have an IH vehicle for sale. Is it possible to submit a flyer to be included with the event grab bag. – yes. Mail 100 copies to Mike

• are dogs allowed on the lfr grounds? - Yes, must be on leash

• I will not be able to attend this year’s show. Can I still get this year’s event apparel & collectibles? -yes, add $10.00 [usps] To the total cost of the order. Check registration sign-up sheet for details. Guaranteed sale if ordered before the registration closing date of sept 16

Because of our demand, lake francis has opened up 8 more deluxe cabins to us on the retreat side of the complex. It's just past the amphitheater. They're 2 bedroom units similar to the lakeside cabins. Maybe some of ya can double-up and share on the expense???

Reservations have been quick this year. They only have 3 mini deluxe cabins and a few rustic cabins available.

Just a quick question. I was wondering how the registration would be handled for multiple International vehicles from one party. I currently live less than 5 miles from lake francis resort and am wanting to possibly bring approximately 5-6 International harvesters including scouts, travelalls, and a few others. I realize that registration is $32.00 per vehicle but I do not want to have to register each vehicle individually. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does each vehicle have to show proof of liability insurance just to attend or is that to participate in the games and what not? I know it speaks of liability insurance at the bottom of the flyer in small print and realize this is a new requirement. Thx

I can interpret your ”multiple International vehicles from one party” Two ways:

• one registration will cover all your personally owned IH vehicles and any other IH manufactured item you bring.
Or
• party to include family (sons, dads, uncles, nephews, etc) and friends, then each vehicle is a separate registration. A good percentage of the rallye attendees come as part of a group and all register individually.

Far from me being a legal scholar, but it seems if you can drive it to lfr, then by state law it’s already licensed, insured & legit. Off-hand, I'd say the current registration is probably stored in the glove box if it's ever needed. .....

"Mike decker's movie icon artwork also included the rallye logo on his hood. I wonder what Mike's theme will be next year."


I'll throw out one idea. How about a 50th anniversary theme???
