2008 Sierra Fall Rallye

Thats a good map, I have never seen that one before.

As for cell service, verizon does not work much at all there. Every other carrier seems to work fine however.

You should be able to make eagle lakes road back to the comittee crossing in half to full day depending on skill/rig level, and through the rest of the trail in a little less time.

How many people do you have going through with you ss2. Also, dont forget about flows
dreamflows daily report

Says 200 or so cfs the first part of the week, but nothing for the end of it.

Right now one rig two people. Which is why we are trying to find another trail buddy. I feel better having another rig along.

The issue for me is my wife is coming with me on this trip and she likes the easy trails vs bouncing around on the rocks. She gets off work at 4 and I can ask her if she would like do fordyce vs crusing around the new bullards lake area Friday. Don't get your hopes up just yet :icon_neutral: I do have an obw which makes trail fixes a bit easier.

Hey Craig,

your wife is welcome to ride up with us tomorrow morning if she doesn't want to hit fordyce.

Right now counting me we have one rig. I have a good spotter though. We are camped in cisco grove right now. I think we will try to hit the trail at 9:00am tomorrow.

Have a nice trip. Sorry I cant make it, just too much to do.

Hope o see everyone Saturday and get some inspiration for my 80.

I made it into dobbins about 10am this morning. Spent the night on a pullout south of susanville (highway 89/70 intersect). Light dusting of snow in that area when I pulled out at 7am, fall is definitely here.

The turnout already is huge!

I gotta email from dan and Mike they are on their way to dobbins now, so the got off fordyce ok. I'm connected to the 'net through my cell, Mike and dan are on crackberries.

Home safe! What a great show! I will be there next year. Dan and I had a blast. Lots of new to us scouts, fun games-dan tried to guide me in the blind driver...turns out I don't take direction well.. the food was great. The grounds are cool and the lake francis resort is very friendly. This is a must visit show. Throw in our trip to fordyce and I'm going to be high for a week....:dita:
since I forgot my camera. These are the only two phone pictures I took this weekend. I think dan took a bunch at the show though.

I made it home too. I had a blast as well. It was cool seeing rigs that I don't normally see. Mike and I are already planning for next year.

My guts hurt from road food, candy, and soda. It was still worth it though. I'll post pics shortly.

Super glad you guys made it down. Always a good time making fun of mayben and bs'in with you guys!! Also had a great time and am already looking forward to next season. See you guys at the bee!!

It was good to meet some of the guys from the north. It’s great that you guys came down. I hope you all had a good time and everyone made it home safely.

I was busy having fun this year vs being the japanese tourist.

I got these only because I gave Jesse my camera:icon_eh:

We're still havin' fun! The rallye ain't over yet!

I'm camped in Jeff and norma's front yard, feasted on orygone venison backstrap and steaks last night. Naw...it weren't roadkill....

The rallye was truly a great event, from now on we'll consider it our "sister show" to the bee! Super participant turnout and we know many of ya will bee at the bee in '09, the IHSTO contingent will definitely be back down next October.

The lake francis venue is superb, particularly at this time of the year.

Anybody find a set of keys at the rallye.

About 8 keys on a simple metal ring with a 1" x 1 1/2" black plastic tab which is a magnetic key.

Thanks for a great event guys had an awesome time all weekend met a bunch of new great people and looking foreward to next year already
thanks ed
