Trying to fix this truck up but I have too many projects. If no one wants it I'll keep working on it.
1980 Scout II automatic with the 304 engine. Pickup style top.
Has a 72 grille. New headlights, rebuilt carb, not running. Probably a blown head gasket. Would need to be towed.
Theres no heater. Or the po placed the heater somewhere and I can't find it. Missing some transmission kickdown linkage. Which I have found and May get before its sold. This is a project truck.
Its lifted a few inches with a sway bar in the front and mickey thompson off-road tires all around.
Needs work. I bought it because I thought it looked cool with the intention of driving it daily. The guy told me it was his daily driver so I thought it was ok. Drove great for a while. It got me around for a bit and then started having a bunch of problems.
It would make a good project for someone more into these trucks than me. It probably just needs that kickdown linkage and new head gaskets and it'll be good to go. Probably wont take much for the seasoned mechanic to make it run again but like I said, I'm into different cars and I'd rather just take the money from this and put it into one of my other projects. It's a cool looking truck. I can send pictures via email. I dont know that much about it. But I will respond to any questions as I can and will provide pictures of the truck as needed.
