1975 200 4x4 Deluxe

Well, after some harassment from binder buds back east, I'm posting pics of the completed 200. This adventure started off as a requirement for a 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup that could serve as my personal truck, and pull toys to events, camping, etc. The only stipulation was it either had to be an 69-75 d, or a 72-75 j-4000 Jeep. The 200 fell in my lap for $200 via cl, having spent it's life in socal. The truck was bought new from riggs truck in santa maria, logged 83k so far. It has a 345, t-19 close, 205 tc, deluxe interior and exterior, 7700 gvwr, camper special, factory duals, clock, am radio, powr-locks, and CA emissions.

The 345 is original, including cam, lifters, bearings, and rings. I took the heads off to remove several broken bolts. Exhaust manifolds are uncracked and original. I had it repainted bimini blue, and a line-x sprayed in. I keep the driving local but have been all around the county; drives like new, even though the 3500 front and 5500 rear springs do not give!

Thanks for the compliments. I grew-up with harvester, as scott truck and tractor was a huge dealership hq'd in my home town. It was not uncommon for a farmer to buy a 1066 and snag a Scout and pickup for work, and a t-all for family. My Dad actually considered a new 150 but when we got to scott, the salesman said that they weren't getting anymore. I was like 3...we got a cheyenne c-10 instead.

Yes indeed that is a purdy truck. I have a '71 t'ette that will get 4x4 and a nice paint job some day.
