192 Compression

Just got my hands on a 1969 800a. She runs but not great. Just did a compression test and results seems low: 90,105,110,90. What's expected compression psi on these motors.

Assuming you have a 4 cylinder, IH has two displacements, a 152 and a 196. For either 135+ would be expected for a stock compression engine in good condition. Differential from the highest to lowest is 10%. The numbers are low over all.
How much have you driven it? If it has been static for a while, you should drive it to make sure there are not any sticking situations. It should run ok enough to drive even with the low numbers you see. Don't make any decisions until you can drive it hard for a few miles.

Typo in the title its a 196 4 cylinder (not a 192). It had been sitting for past 6-8 months, it was being used as a snow plow, so prior owner was just using it for some winter driving. I've just driven it around the neighborhood a few times. Still just assessing what to do. Thanks for the info.
