Pertronix ignition coil

Hello all, I had a Pertronix ignition coil fitted on my 69 1000D with defective internal connection; I decided to replace it by a "standard" one which died after 10 miles; so I presume it was not the right model! the one I had fitted was chrome body from Pertronix but I don't remember the type; (my distributor is with 8 magnets ) can you tell me what model should I order? thanks in advance;

Best suggestion I can make is for you to get us some good pics of your under hood setup from several angles. Show the wires going to the coil and show the innards or the distributor with the cap out of the way.

I will as soon as I recover my pick-up from the garage! I will keep you posted with pictures

I have not still recover my baby but I got an answer from another source; it should be a 1,5ohms primary type; but now, my concerne is the following: how should be wired the connections between distributor and ignition coil, knowing that my distributor looks like the picture; if you have a sample or a link would be nice; ( I have no electronic module)
