REBUILD OR MOTOR SWAP??

1978 scout II.345,727,3.54 gear.recent body,interior and suspension restoration.need to do something about motor.has a dead hole and will either rebuild and convert to FI which will run about $6k.so im wondering if i should convert to a newer hemi style motor.has anyone done this? I hve a few questions:
Will trans bolt up
Motor mounts
Can i run factory guages
Power steering pump
Radiator in/ out location

Motor mounts Will need to be changed and possibly even fabricated from scratch
Can i run factory guages Sure, if the new engine has threaded bosses at appropriate locations that can accept the stock style oil and coolant senders.
Power steering pump Will be what normally comes with the engine. Pump orientation and hose plumbing could require some creativity to join with the steering gear box.
Radiator in/ out location Top is passenger side and bottom is driver side. How does that jive with vehicles that use your proposed engine?

Dropping in motor is easy part . Any suggestion on trans and transfer case ? Can you use the dodge truck one and any issues lining up drive shafts?
Client wants a Hemi and shipped one but not finding much info of trans/transf solution to keep 4 wheel drive.

Need a driver drop dana 44 front axle.
