2014 Binder Bee

On the antique powerland calender it shows July 10-12th. Was trying to find the dates too and it popped up.

Smith, thank you for posting up the info, I totally missed this post by Mark. The show will be held on Saturday the 12th, but the grounds will be open on the 11th and the 13th for setup and tear down, just no actual show. We're getting everything rolling as we speak, so continue to watch this space for details.

Hey everyone. I'm new here. I happened to stumble upon the Binder Bee last year and had an awesome time. I wasn't able to bring my Scout with me but I'm hoping to this year. Can I get a little more info on the Binder Bee? Does it cost to bring my Scout in to show?

If I May be so bold as to direct you to your local club website...IHSTo_Org, you will git yersef all kinds a gud buklarnin' 'bout club events an sech. Jes luk wut it dun did fer me! I kudnt spell my way out of a brown paper ask afore I joint. Why not join the collective while you're at it? Resistance is fyootil.

Well first of all that site hasn't been updated since 2009 so that's not much help at all. And as for your spelling good try kid maybe grow up a bit. ;) don't see why its hassle to ask about something you guys have clearly posted about already.

If I recall it is $20-$25 to show your ride. 1, 2 or.... It dosn't matter how many. Carl will probably chime in with the correct numbers if I am wrong. I'm in harrisburg and if you want you can ride with me to the next meet in salem. First Thursday of the month. Feel free to pm me.

Someone has poopy pants. First off, I had no idea that the IHSTO website wasn't up to date. I genuinely thought that would be a quick and easy way for you to gain the info you were seeking and much more. My bad for assuming it was current without checking first. Secondly, you read between the lines too much. I don't know where you got the idea that I was even remotely insinuating that your very reasonable question was being taken as some sort of hassle in any way. And the intentional miss-spelling was my oft-used, to the point of being nearly patented, tongue-in-cheek attempt at some good-natured humor. It does tend to get lost on those with little to no sense of humor. I hope you get the answers you were seeking.

The main IHSTO site has been updated recently -- but the 'old' site has not been maintained since 2009. But if you go to www.IHSTO.org You should get new info...

They had the 2013 Binder Bee info posted on it last year.

I just checked IHSTo_Org and it is down right now... Hmmm??

I used to run the site, but do not anymore, so I don't know how it works or I'd fix it!

First, I would like to apologize for not speaking up sooner, I don't know how this thread slipped off my radar. First, Binder Bee is going on this year. We are getting a bit of a slower start then in years past but we are working on it.

Second, we've been working on getting IHSTo_Org back up, but don't have a large pool of people to draw from and none of them have web experience. Right now I am looking at alternatives to create an easy to manage site, so web experience is not needed. I am sorry for the lapse, but we are working on it. I'll post back with details as soon as I am able.

It lives!!!!
IHSTO home

Super basic right now.

But I did turn on the way back machine... Go here and enjoy the old days of IHSTO - some of the stuff is well over 10 years old. Holy cow!! Did we even have the internet in 2001?? :d

I made my reservation to camp Friday and Saturday night.

I won't be bringing the t-all this year.

Besides the fact the t-all doesn't have a/c, it would require having to readjust the hitch head to make the new hitch line up correctly with the new trailer.

With everything else going on this week readjusting the hitch is just one more thing I don't want to make time to do.
