All American Truck Show Redwood City

Howdy all. I would really like to get my truck running under it's own power by the time this show hits but I have a pretty good feeling it won't be street legal due to registration and what not. I live right down the street from the high school so I'm not too worried about getting pulled over but does anybody know if the show will allow unregistered trucks to be shown? Either way I will be at the show and would love to meet some of the people from the forum.

Sun May 5th 8am-3pm

redwood city, CA, 1201 brewster ave. Corner of el camino real & broadway,

$35 entry fee, first 200 pre registered to receive goodie bag/shirt.
Shirt size only guaranteed if reg by April 1. Pre-reg vehicles only qualify to win $100 cash prize.

I am thinking about entering my Scout in the show. Who else is interested? Can I sign up through the club or through the event.

Thanks,

jim

I would love to go. But it's only if I can get one of my scouts mobile in time. Been lacking the time to actually work on my own rig lately.

Professional obligation has reared its head so I will be there after about 2 pm - driving the service truck. Shall I wash it or keep it authentic?

Got out of he obligation so see you in the am.

I would like to go/enter my truck too..nobody answered his q. So I'll ask it again...how about a link.

Not through the babs club. Most cars or truck shows have registration at the door on the day of the events. Google is your friend calender of events. Scroll down to the month of May. Looks to be the people who put on the local auto shows.

Hey scooter if you still need a ride when the time comes I'm about half a mile from the fremont bart station. You can just give me a call when you get there, or hoof it straight down walnut. Let me know. Got the front axle in and tested this weekend. Was finishing up putting the tire on when I saw the broken new motor mount (explains the oil filter hitting the mount on the other side). Apparently binders just chew that chinese made crap up and spit it out. Had to order a real one, all the parts places in fremont had the same anchor junk.
My appologies to the chinese manufacturers, the credit for the crappy material used to make the anchor motor mounts goes to india, probably would work fine for a 2 cylinder tata motor. Should have known when the new motor mounts weighed about half as much as of the ones they replaced.

I'm planning on coming and showing my IH. Steve rose will likely get a ride with me. He's too ashamed to show his rusty Scout II or omaha orange '75 pickup...
