looks like the t-18 stay's where it is. Anyone need a good t-19? There's quite a bit of cast iron savings with the t-19 adapter.
Any comments on which trans is stronger 18 vs. 19?
this is interesting to know. I have a t-19 to swap into the Scout to replace the t-18 in there now. The t-19 has no t/c adapter. I had heard there were some "issues" with a swap. Are the tranny lengths the same?
I would say, find a t/c adapter for the 19, move the crossmember forward to accommodate the mount. I am going to make an adapter plate for the bottom of the tranny and convert to using a Ford style urethane mount from Energy Suspension.
