Mike and terry want to take a wheeling trip soon. I am going to try and set up a trip either nov. 1 or 2 in the trask/ tillamook forest area. Post up comments or concerns. I want people to be able to make this trip so let me know.

Is this for stock or modified vehicles? Would like to go, but the Scout is in it's stock form, so kinda limited on what I can go through. sounds fun

Let's do it! I still have the itch and my junk is still together..:dita: also on a side note. Lastnight while playing on here I noticed that our newest member to the board was oregongirlscout.....could it be that jennifer is going to grace us with her presence on this forum?..

Jennifer is on here now? She has come to join the fun I guess.

Mike my Scout is getting the FI install so I expect I will be someone's passenger this time around. How about I ride shotgun with you?

Lol. You won't hear me crying, I will be yelling at you to do it again. In all reality there isn't much up there that is very difficult, it is mostly a bunch of ridiculous hill climbs. In the spring we are hoping to put in some rock climbs and some new trails. We have the state forestry ohv dude on our side now.

finally the sausage fest days of this forum can be put behind us! Welcome!!

Um....I'm not sure about that. were still pretty sausage festive.:dita: but miss jennifer will be a great addition to the board. Plus she can wheel circles around most of us..

As the head wrench for "team girl Scout" I'll make sure we're ready to go! Sounds like fun!

Hey man, I count even one girl on the board as a win! Do not rain on my little parade over here. :dita: seriously though, I met jen up at the bee this year are she seems like a great person glad to have her and all you oregonions on board (well cept maybe mayben still not sure about that guy).

Ya she is great and it's cool to have her in the IHSTO. Now mayben on the other hand. He just lives here. He's not a real "oregon boy" it's kinda a default thing. We just happen to be close when he woke up from his heart thing and the dr. Ask us to look out for him. So we do. Kinda like you would look out for a retarded uncle....:dita:

I have often thought that he needs a helmet and a leash, this weekend did not change my line of thinking on the matter.

Yep. The only problem is we can't find anyone that want to hold the leash...:dita: so we just let him run wild. Sorry about that.. mabey next year we can hire one of them trained monkeys to hold his leash...

Um...ya so back to the real reason of this thread.....wheeling! It looks like my first choice would be Sunday the 2nd. As for you michael I have no idea what we are wheeling in but I do know that even it stock form a Scout wheels pretty well. I say come on out. I'll tow you around if it comes to that.....:dita:

Michael come on out. There will be lots of hill climbs and plenty of mud. Come prepared with tools, hi lift, tow strap, spare tire, fluids, etc... I used to have some trouble with some of these areas when my Scout was stock, but do not worry there are roads that go around those areas. Will you be towing your Scout over or will you be driving it? If your driving then make sure you have spare parts so you can get home.

I passed my weld test at hunt air today so it looks like I wont be wheeling till the snow runs(Christmas tree and huge bitch run) michael, you'll do fine. Stay away from 'big bertha' and everything else is pretty easy. Maybe the climb on the way to bertha might be tricky too. The rattle trap shit box has made me numb to whats difficult or not anymore.:dita:

btw, jenn's a good addition to this forum. She can spruce this place up a bit. Little air freshener here, fabreze there, and viola. Its like a new forum:icon_mrgreen:
