jennifer and terry will be there with the "girl Scout"
hopefully dan and monte in another rig

what time?

Ok sorry if I'm slow here, but I know one oregon group was planing on running the rubicon and then fordyce mid week.
Is that still a go?

Things have changed Craig, we had some things come up around here. Details are still in the works but hopefully rubicon on Thursday and fordyce on Friday.

What time do you plan to start thurs and where will you camp? Ill be getting off work that morning and would try and met up with you guys. Id like some inspiration for my 80 build.

Not sure about the Thursday plans. We hope to start early and stay late, then camp at lake frances for the night, and join the group for the Friday trail ride.

We really have no idea where we should start, if you would like to be the tour guide then we'll follow you. Tell us when and where. Would nice not to duplicate the Friday trail though...

The rubicon part of this venture, planned for earlier in the week is all but dead for now. Maybe next year.

Jeff, is the offer still good to camp out at your place? Wednesday night, would be great if possible.

Wednesday is fine for camping at my place. I will be camping at lake frances on Thursday night though.

Fordyce is a day trip depending on skill level. The half way point is the committee crossing, and an exit.

There is some really nice camping up there depending on crowds.

Im fine leading you guys, but wouldnt be available till early afternoon on the Thursday.

If you want that, id wheel into committee (actually a bit before, but ater winch hills 1 and 2) camp, and then finish the trail.

What is the Friday groups plan?

We're looking forward to a couple of days on trails, down that way, but will probably make camp at lake frances, since we have a spot reserved.
We'll meet up with you Thursday afternoon. Is there anyone else that cares to join in the fun?
Look for the two oregon rigs, lost in the woods somewhere!:yikes:

What is your guys build specs? Just wondering how fast you can make it through the trail?

Commitee can be made in 3 to 4 hours without stopping, im sure the buggy guys can go even faster. I would expect that you will want to go at a leisure speed???????

Build specs? It's just rusty IH junk that runs somethimes... Oh, you mean...
Sii 345 gmtbi 727/d20, 35 spl 60 rear w/spool, 44 frt w/aussie chromo, drive flanges, 3/4t outers 5:38 gears, 36's, boatsides,cb & 2 meter
yada, yada, yada, all the usual stuff. Nothing special.

Dan's rig has more good stuff. Not much stops him. Looks like he's officialy in now

leisurely pace is good, but enough to see what there is to see.

Right on, we can make as good a time as you want. Could be 4 hours, could be more if you want to stop. It'd be nice to get a final count on people.

What are the plans for Friday? Its sorta hard not to repeat the trail, unless you consider the committee crossing the half way point.

As far as the oregon group goes, it looks like just 2 rigs and 3 maybe 4 people. The more of you locals that can make it the better.
It would be nice to know what the Friday IHSFR ride is going to cover, so we can do a different part Thursday. I'm guessing Thursday we should start at committe crossing??
I need to find a map to study...
The camera is ready to go...
