Smell Pork-like Products?

Got some fucking spam-flippers flipping spam around here. One thread in particular has been attacked twice. Interesting timing. The first instance happened not too awful long after mayben rightfully chided some nooby for spewing off-handed advice in that very same thread. Kohinkydink?

It amazes me how little of this stuff posing as meat we see on these forums. Then again, that sort of thing shrivels and melts away in light of the intense fact that this site is soaked in.

You have to keep in mind that not everyone can be an expert - and that's a good enough reason to take up the canned meat, apparently!

What yawl see is just a tiny part of what sneaks through the trench line, it's a constant battle to fight these fuckers.

The cure for this shit? First offense...electroshock aversion therapy followed up by a cool-down session with waterboarding. Second offense...vaporize the gene pool they come out of. Spammers and taggers, there is no difference!

Most of this is handled at the backend, but it costs the management here mucho to have to pay to fight these fucks, otherwise the millions of parasites that do this shit would take us down in short order!!!

Many top notch technical forms require a writen request to the admin or the like before a new member can post. For one to stop spammers and second to weed out the more worthless members who won't put the effort to belong to a truely quality sight like ihon........food for thought.....now I'm off to camarillo. :icon_crying:

That's definitely under consideration roberto!

Camarillo...you goin' up to visit the harbor freight wurld hq????

If anyone ever gets a private message with spam or is spamming our board please let either myself or one of our moderators know immediately. We have put up road blocks making it more difficult for spammers to join our site but once in awhile one will still squeek through the system.

No I had to go to our corporate hq Friday Saturday and today for a big dealio project we are working on hence I have been a bit absent here.:ihih:

I did in fact stop by satyday. I get off the 101 ar flynn and that is the same one hf is on. That is one huge hf. I got the small ir thermometer that is about 3x2x1". Man I could look around there all day.

Yep, that is hf whq and central command!

I was onna long-term project at port hueneme doing volvo campaigns before new model launch, lived in that la quinta there for two months. I bought thousands of dollars worth of tools and supplies there at hf for the project.

Once I wrapped the project, all the tools and materials I had to go personally place inna rollback sent out from the scrap metal recycler...our corporate rules forbade the use of any resources that were dedicated to a single oem project from being used again in normal routine activities. I then had to follow the recycle truck to their facility and watch 'em dump the contents right into a shredder where the stuff was pulverized while I watched and took pics for proof of destruction. Then the "pellets" were loaded right onna ship and sent back to china!

I had to buy thousands worth of snap-on tools off the local truck dude also (made his two months budget!), these went right into the rollback with the hf stuff!

Actually, I always thought the hq store was the junkyard repository for the hf store returns, but that was just the way they kept it, the actual retail operation was part of the warehouse and stuff came and went before your eyes!

I can visualize spammers "accidentally" finding themselves introduced to that hopper at the steel shredder, that would kinda complete the cycle don'tcha think?

Prime example of how much total waste is involved in the oem automobile/truck production industry!

Don't believe any hype about "lean and green", robotics, manufacturing efficiencies, "cost reduction", kaizen, etc., it's total bs!

And the volvo project was a prime example of the worst waste of resources, time, and product planning I ever experienced in 12 years of doing that kinda shit! And the volvo oem side was by far the worst oem experience of my entire life in this business, the swedes think they invented the world, but most of the products that come to the u.s. Come out of belgium,...the swedes think the belgians are scum of the earth and even deny that belgian-production volvos are volvos!

And right now...the toyota deal is an example of how the japanese side is gaming and dickin' with the government while the "government experts" are attempting to destroy the motor vehicle industry. You think they japanese side don't have a "plan"???? Believe nothing you read in the msm about this stuff!

' '...the "government experts" are attempting to destroy the motor vehicle industry.

Didn't that happen when IH stopped making all these light vehicles for road use?

...

hijacking the hail out of a thread can but fun, but then again this only serves to remind me why I wanna keep my binder alive - so's I can bust through all the swamp that'll happen when the higher powers finally nuke the levees and tries to drown us out with a heavier bs flow . which is actually a threat for someone so close to the good grandmother river!

Then you know the feeling I had watching greenheart, angelique and honduran mahogany timbers go into the furnace at the shipyard I worked at so that management wouldn't have daydreams that employees were building high-end dinghys in their garage. It felt even worse jamming them into the hopper myself.:icon_crying:

The spammers continue to blow by our firewall.. I think I counted 3 last night alone...:incazzato:

think we gotta get tough with the deal. Give me the bat and I'll keep the azzhaids at bay! :cornut: hehehe :ihih:

Yep, we've definitely been attacked heavy recently, the fuckers are even putting up avatars now!

If ya go into the member list ya can see these shithaids...I hate to start eliminating their presence if they've not yet posted so that we can judge their legitimacy, but I see a purge on the horizon. Nearly all are currently registering with a user name that begins with a lower case letter "I". You can easily pick 'em off.

When I ban a member I go deep into the system and ban the ip address as well. Some of these spamholes will show two different ip address' so both are entered into the system. I was just playing around on the backside of the forum and found out that I have many ways of searching out these spamholes. One way was a search for all members awaiting a response from the sign up email. There are currently 111 members who never finished signing up - many of them definitely look like spam. Another way is to search by the ip address or portion of. I'll definitely be doing some spring cleaning on the members list in the very near future.

You're on my friend.. Hope you can tie a good slip knot!! We should let mayben pull the lever though.
