today I put the family in the Scout for an adventure.

we headed up into the hills above scotts mills to butte creek falls. We made a couple of stops along the way to check the berry crop. (or were they just photo ops?)

we stoped to play in the creek. Turned over rocks for awhile to see what scurried away..:)

then we started the hike into the upper falls. Just a short walk from the parking lot down a nice trail.

this is the view that awaits at the end of the trail.

now I'm sure we could have driven there in our new suv with the ac blowing and the kids in the back watching a dvd. But I know that the view on the way to the end of the trail would not have been near as sweet...

Keep raisin' up them kidz right! Throw away them dvds and mabee they'll learn sum geography! And they need to lern to sweat, it's good for tha kidneys!

Their dadee didn't have no a/c in tha rig comin' up! And he had a bear to play with instead of dvd pretend friends!

Between the bee, the bee trailride, and this outing, yawl have had quite a week!

Man Mike you're getting alot of milage out of those pictures.. it's ok though. I like seeing them. Gives me an excuse for having the IH sickness....

Nice pictures and nice looking family Mike. That's one of the main thangs these rigs is made for. You took your family out to enjoy the wonders of nature in the safety, comfort and style of your versatile and practical International Scout II compact utility vehicle. I sound just like a sales brochure don't I? Only mr. Mayben knows why. I imagine that activity put a nice deposit into your num num account. Very nicely done. And just think, by the time those young uns is old enuff to drive themselves there'll be a fleet of fine IH vehicles waiting for them to turn the key.

Who is the blond with the little kids? and how did she end up in your Scout???

Not only does the Scout make magazines -- it hauls lil' kids  that is a true utiliy vehicle!

Don't get to carried away folks. Those are paid actors and actresses. :frown2: Mike really needs the "family americana" look to land that big fat magazine contract for uber :winky:

actually, I don't know what I am talking about as usual. But Mike you got some cute kids and I am envious that you have a working Scout to haul them up to the mountains with.

Let me know when you guys are going to go huckleberrying. I will pack up a nice lunch and me and the family will follow you up there. Maybe then the Travelall will be able to handle the trip.:icon_rolleyes:

Some single Mom. I tricked them into getting in with candy..:winky:
