Truck is rusty now
I work hard on it daily
completion draws near
sitting in the cab
engine idles like swiss watch
what's next on the list?
Wrenching on the carb
rebuild kit & two new floats
thermo-quad is good
fuel pump on the fritz
go to napa with some cash
bolt it on and go!
Fuel selector now
three o-rings and a gasket
no more sucking air
inner fender rot
call up trever for some tin
mount them to my rig.
Belts and hoses time
three of each and thermostat
runs cool and quiet now.
Dash lights growing dim
grab my tools and pull some tin
now I see the light!
Shock absorbers soft
two up front and two out back
rides much better now.
Sitting on the couch
reading binder squawks on-line
helping where I can.
