New Owner-Parts Interchange Question

Hello Everyone,

I’m the new owner of single cab 71/72 1310 4WD 1 ton, and had a question regarding parts interchangeability between 68/69 1100 4wd and mine.

Obviously things like suspension and axels are not going to work, but I am hoping learn from anyone’s experience if things like the doors and windshield are compatible between the two, as well as other body interior components?

Any experienced feedback is appreciated.

'69 is the first year for the D-line trucks. There are a host of parts crossovers between the 69-73 model years. There are also some subtle changes that occurred over that span as well. The cabs, window glass and doors are the same. The dash and instrument panel layout changed in '72, although the gauges are still the same as prior years. The side markers and corresponding fender cutouts on the '69 and '70 trucks are different than the later years.
