1968 1500c U-joints??

Hello friends, I’ve recently acquired a 1968 international 1500c v304 2wd. In the process of getting it running, I’ve found the rear u-joint was removed at some point in time. I’ve been unable to find any information online about what U-joint I need, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

According to the parts catalog, there was a u-joint kit one could purchase back in the day. Perhaps they still exist. The IH part number is 217193 R91. If you google that number, you might find something. You could also try calling IHPA, the owner of this tech forum during their normal business hours to see what they might be able to help you with. 530-274-1795

Thank you @Scoutboy74 any information helps, seems like there’s not much online about these old binders. I enjoy keeping them alive, one part at a time.

If you can measure the diameter of the caps, the distance across the u joint from cap to cap and if there are inside or outside retainer clips, I can get you a common parts number.

Okay @FDChappie i am going to the truck tomorrow, my big issue is that the u-joint is missing. But I will measure the yoke hole size and approximate distance cabs would be apart. I will let you know my findings once I do that. Thanks
