Work Day - Sat - Nov. 5th

I dont know if this is the place to ask but I thought work day maybe ill find some help there :)


im looking for a 3 on the tree transmission for my brothers 63 traval it has a 266 in it.

All I know form looking around is im looking for:

International t1, t2 3 spd. Manual transmission or borg-warner t87e 3 spd. Manual transmission

I got the info from just looking around so understanding or flat out know what I need is not really looking good for me :nonod:

I looked in to having mine fixed I have two that are in disrepare with overdive and one that is in working order with out overdirve

but my brother wonts me to try to find a working one for him so im truning to you if you have one or know were I can find one
really any help would be hot

Early. I will be at the shop space till late Friday night, and May end up camping out. Helps that I have access to a shower room in the building for those late night wrenching sessions :winky:

First off - welcome to the forums. Stick around long enough your answers just might appear.
I know that I don't have any manual transmissions, and I personally am not that familiar with those trans. That you had mentioned. Others around here might, though. Check out the "transmission tech" section here in the forum. Plus you could also make a post in the "wanted goods" section in the forum asking your very question. There are a lot of very knowledgeable folks hanging around these parts.

Man do I wish I could make this one... Unfortunately I have to finish the motor install on my pick-up so I will be hear at the house wrenching on a half finished project.
 
Already here. Just doing a little clean up and a little more welding on my own Scout.

Got an over head electric hoist here in da cave which makes for easy work of motor swaps.:winky:

Sorry to hear that. Had a good turn out. A next time is in the works in the near future and will be posted.

Big thanks goes out to scoutdude80 for the help. A good time was had by all who attended. At least from what I could tell. Glad we were all inside since it started to rain, which was expected. In the midths of the grill and other things I didn't get a chance to take many photos till the end. Some wrenching was done on a couple rigs along with plenty of burgers & dogs and chips to munch on

I had a great time! Thanks for hosting this event scooter. Didn't do a whole lot of wrenching, kept getting side tracked by all the chatting/conversations/bbq. But definitely a good time with good people. I'll see most you guys at hollister next weekend :cornut:

Just looked around, and didn't find any keys laying around. But I will definately keep an eye out for them just in case if they do show up. Hope they do turn up.
