Yippie!
I've got a job interview today! It's at a company here in fremont that makes products out of memory metal. Cool stuff.
I also have a job fair on Thursday and another one on Saturday.
So, wish me luck.
I'll be thinking of you guys at the rallye while I'm whoring myself out at the job fair.

Holy cow!
In just over four hours I was interviewed by:
the vp of operations
the president and ceo
the cfo
the vp of strategic development
the laser manager
the medical device design director
the director of engineering services
the design director
the staff engineer

I think I made a good impression but damm, it was like speed dating!
The design director guy is an off-roader. He claims to have a "built" toyota four runner. So that might help my chances.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

I got the job!
I'll be starting on the 26th. I'll be designing tools, jigs and fixtures for the nitinol process.
Guess this means that I'll have to get used to wearing shoes again.
 
Good work marty and congrats!! You get to buy the next bottle of scotch for the death valley run!
