Windshield

The windshields for all "d" model cabs are the same in dimension and curvature. However, there are part number differences which denote "clear" or "tinted", and whether or not a rear view mirror mount is installed.

I have a good windshield in a '73 1210 pickup I'm parting right now. It's "clear" and has a rear view mirror still attached (kinda rare).

You come cut it out with a razor knife (I'll assist) and ya can hawl it home for $40.

I should probably keep it for myself as my beater truck is badly fogged. But I have access to two new windshields (both tinted), so if I ever get motivated to paint the pos, I'll install one of 'em.

I have no rubbers seals here, those are available through the online store by calling.

Michael,

I am interested. My parents retired to florence, so I will see if my Dad can swing by and snag it. Pm me with your address and phone number and I will send it to him.

My current glass is the clear with a rear view mirror, and just has a few road chips that could be repaired, but I would like to get a nice, clean one, without any chips, and save my dinged one for an emergency... I assume your clear one is chip free, correct?

If you ever decide to let a tinted one go, let me know... I would love to install one in my step side.

We have full sun today, so I looked at that windshield again. It does have about the same fogging on the side and bottom as my other one. It also has some wiper dings that were covered up by moss. No chips or cracks however.

Sorry for steering you wrong, it looked much nicer last night using a flashlight!

This one is certainly not worth $40, so yawl can have it for nada if you pull it!

The new windshields are available through ihon down in Grass Valley, I don't think they have been moved to the new shop yet though. Contact Jeff directly about those at 530.268.0864.

If you want your pop to look at the rig regarding anything else, my addy is:

42790 leaburg dr., leaburg, or 97489

that is at milepost 20 eastbound off hiway 126, the opposite end of 126 from florence.

A '74/'75 pickall is significantly different compared to '69>'73 but much of the entire vehicle does interchange.

I do have a near-virgin short/wide bed with a snugtop shell still for sale. Pics and the posting are buried deep in the "parts for sale" sub-forum. Also a pair of d44 axles geared 3.73 for same complete with brake systems, front has a tie rod guard.
