Windshield Wiper Motor Part 2 - 1967 1300B

I purchased an American Bosch wiper motor to replace my OEM wiper motor, which is grounded. The exterior wiring on my OEM motor appears to be in good shape, so I thought I would de-solder the connections and solder them at the new motor. Upon examination, I see that the new motor wire colors don't match the locations on the OEM motor. Would it be better just to solder the wiring consistent with the old OEM motor locations? What do the terminal letters PFWA mean?

I think you'd be better off leaving the motor soldering alone and compensate for it by altering your switch connections. The color references I noted in your other thread obviously corresponds to the original motor, so that might not apply with the replacement motor, but I did include the letters PFA along with those colors. I don't know what those letters stand for, but when you consider the basic functions of the motor, you have a low speed, a high speed and a return to park when you cut the switch off. So if you match P to P, F to F, and A to A between the switch and new motor, that should get you there.
