Where's Mike

At this point, no. He has retired and moved back to texas to be close to family. We all miss him and his wisdom but wish him the very best!

Edit: moved to more appropriate forum

I wondered the same thing. I'm so clad there were so many stickies made in the many forums showcasing various aspects of IH trucks/scouts.

I miss that cantakerous fucker too, even if the epic fail trans rebuild he did for me still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. On the flipside, I wouldn't know a fraction of what I now know about the 727 trans if not for that tragic event. So even when he wasn't teaching me in a normal, direct fashion...in a crazy, ugly, mixed up, stupid sort of way, he was still teaching me. It troubles me greatly that he and I have not had the opportunity to sort out our differences like men and move on, which I'm confident would have happened in quick fashion if not for all this serious real life business that has gotten in the way. I learned a shit ton from Mike. Lots of good memories from classes attended at the legendary binder university and tasty meals shared with professor mayben at the vida cafe. I miss the good-natured crap flinging that often played out between he and I on the pages of this public forum. It was always done in good fun and mutual respect. Ours was a rapid friendship born of a common love of all things binder, that unfortunately went through some troubled waters and was unfairly denied the opportunity for fence mending, at least at the date of this writing. I still consider him a friend and hope that things are going as well as can be expected for him and his family.
