Where does this connector live?

I'm about to replace all the bulkhead connecors due to my intermittent problems becoming hard broke.

I have acess to really nice connectors due to my profession. I wire aircraft for a living.

I would like to know where this connector lives.

Replaced 3 bulkhead connectors and spliced in a few new sections of #12 for the amp meter in and outs. I think these are the fusible links in the drawings but not sure they could just be splices to aid in assembly of the car. ( the while reason for the bulkhead connectors in the first place)

Thank you.

I will need to acess it soon. My gauges and some other suff works better now but I still am having intermittent loss
of all power. Must be the amp meter is plain broke or that connector has bad connections.

When it is failed I can give the dash or steering column a good whack and she will come back to life.

Make sure your dash is grounded to the fire wall and the fire wall grounded to the motor and of course motor to battery.
(with good clean connections)

just a thought.

You know what I saw the firewall ground from motor last nite and thought. " I outta re do that ". It's the only one I havnt replaced. Never noticed that one before. I did re do the motor to battery and took that to the fender and firewall in a different place about 6 mo ago.

So my 2nd intermittent problem ended up being the factory amp gauge. A terminal had come loose from one end if the shunt causin all sorts of problems iv been putting up with for te last year. Due to the intermittent connection sometimes it would look like a bad volt regulatorbut I knew that was not it. Anyway I bypassed that side of the meter for now till I find a good serviceable replacement. Nice to know it won't be lights out when I turn they key tommorow morning.
