Where did the name Travelette come from???

One of the youtube channels I watch is Engles Coach Shop where he restores old wagons. A couple of weeks back he was steam bending top bows for a wagonette. He explained that a wagonette was a regular wagon that is modified to carry passengers. Well it seems to make perfect sense that a regular pickup truck that is modified to carry passengers would be a Travelette. That's my story and I'm sticking to ti. ;-]
